Simone is a graduate of San Jose State University, where she received a BA and studied advertising and marketing. She began a career in sales and then property management shortly after graduation with long term experience in managing luxury apt communities in the South Bay Area for over 6 years. Simone’s market knowledge and background eventually led to portfolio management with single and multi-family properties. With a passion for building relationships and meeting the needs and goals of her clients, Simone strives for and delivers a positive and professional experience in all transactions. In her free time, Simone enjoys being an active dog mom to a large goofy brown rescue, working out, and scouting healthy new vegan restaurants.
Pamela Staub is a native to California and has lived in the Bay area for over 25 years. She attended San Jose State University where she received her my B.A in Political Science. Pamela currently works as an Executive Administrative Assistant and provides exceptional customer service and administrative support to the Real Estate Connections team. She likes to create lasting positive impressions and maximize the exposure our listings get online while taking on anything from accepting rent to giving new tenants their keys. Pamela has been working in the Real Estate industry since she received her Real Estate license since 2011.
She lives in Almaden Valley and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. When Pamela isn’t working She spends her time reading, cooking and traveling
Laurelle was raised in Boise, Idaho, and has been in California since 2008. She is a Realtor as well as a property manager, and finds enjoyment in this career for numerous reasons; primarily the great opportunities of meeting families and assisting them with finding a new home.
Laurelle studied creative writing at Boise State University, where received her B.A. When she’s not working, Laurelle loves the beach, traveling, and being with her family.
Kristin Leary was raised in San Jose and graduated from Bethany University in Scotts Valley. She started her Real Estate career as a realtor here in the Bay Area and has broad knowledge of the industry and the housing market. Previously working for a large luxury apartment community, Kristin developed a passion for property management. With experience in real estate management and implementing customer service techniques, Kristin is devoted to providing exceptional service to her clients and determining competitive market pricing for their homes. She is an energetic individual who is committed to growing lasting relationships with owners and tenants.
Rafaela started working in property management industry since 2003. She is customer driven, dedicated to achieving results and providing exceptional service. Rafaela enjoys working with clients and helping them find their new home. Rafaela loves spending her time off with her family.

My family background in the real estate industry inspired me to enter the field of property management. I have been involved in real estate sales and property management for over 18 years. Prior to my position at REC – Real Estate Connections, I was the operations manager for a large property management firm, an account manager for a large title company, as well as Homeowners Association manager. These experiences have allowed me to become well rounded in many aspects of the real estate industry. I am currently a Board of Director for Fourandhalf, an internet marketing company for property managers, and a Board member for CAL-NARPM. I’m also a member of NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers), NAR (National Association of Realtors), CAR (California Association of Realtors) and SCCAOR (Santa Clara County Association of Realtors). I am committed to my clients’ satisfaction and always willing to go the extra mile.

My extensive real estate and property management experience enables me to provide high quality service for our REC – Real Estate Connections clients. I have been a real estate professional in this area since 1974, serving as a real estate agent, broker and property manager. I have also been the manager of a large real estate office, President of the Saratoga Los Gatos Board of Realtors, California and National Association of Realtors and Director of Peninsula Regional Data Service. In 1999 and 2000, I served as President of Silicon Valley Realtors Charitable Foundation. I currently serve on committees for the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors and Santa Clara County Association of Realtors. I am a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers and in 1993 I was elected Realtor of the Year.
Coming from a family of Real Estate professionals in Santa Clara Valley, I entered this field in 1988 with pride and enthusiasm. I began as an escrow officer then turned my interest to property management. I have been with REC – Real Estate Connections for 8 years. I am committed to ensuring my clients receive the best possible service.
Theresa M. Catalano
I have worked in the real estate industry since 1990. I am a licensed Realtor and a member of the California & National Association of Realtors and the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors. As an energetic property manager I will provide the best possible service for you, the owner. It is my duty to maintain your property and deal with all aspects of managing your investment. I have lived in the Bay Area since 1979, and I have extensive knowledge of the Santa Clara County housing market.
After graduating from San Jose State with a degree in Business Marketing, I began working full time in Real Estate. I started in loan processing and moved on to sales after receiving my Real Estate license in 2003. I joined the Real Estate Connections team in 2006. It seems to be a natural fit as I grew up helping my family with their rental properties. As a property manager I enjoy working with both tenants and owners.
Marty has been licensed with the Department of Real Estate since 2004, and has experience as a business owner and an elementary school teacher. With his natural patience and intimate knowledge of Real Estate contracts, Marty enjoys passing on his knowledge of leases and real estate contracts to owners and tenants. A native of Santa Clara County, he and his wife of 23 years enjoy camping, hiking and travel.
Nicole’s expertise has been composed of over a decade of Property Management experience from places throughout the South Bay. Her journey began in 2002 while dealing with government funded housing communities. Being involved with these types of properties and clients allowed her to understand the multiple facets this industry has to offer. Nicole’s career then turned to managing investment residential properties on behalf of individual owners and learning about the expectations that market rate properties hold. This along with experiences in working for large luxury apartment communities helped her reach an exceptional level of service for her clients. In addition to the evolving list of great attributes, Nicole proudly holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from San Jose State University.
These fundamentals allow Nicole to bring a level of professionalism and an exceptional understanding of property management laws. Now as a property manager for Real Estate Connections, she currently holds a mixed portfolio of commercial and residential investment properties.
